The CARE, EATP, and CO specifications are published and freely available. Reference implementations exist as working open-source software under Apache 2.0.

Podcast launched: The Reflective AI Enterprise

The Reflective AI Enterprise, hosted by Dr. Jack Hong, is live on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other major platforms. The podcast examines how organizations govern autonomous systems in practice.

Website launched at terrene.foundation

The Foundation’s website is live, providing public access to specifications (CARE, EATP, CO), the full 77-clause constitution, governance documentation, developer resources, and the intellectual foundations of the Constrained Organization concept.

The website is a static site built with Astro and Starlight, hosted on Firebase Hosting. All content is maintained in Markdown within the website’s git repository.


Constitution filed with ACRA Singapore

The Foundation’s constitution (77 clauses with 11 entrenched provisions) was filed with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore. The constitution is now a public document under Singapore law.

Key features of the constitution:

  • Three governance phases (Seed, Growth, Maturity) with increasing community governance
  • 11 entrenched provisions preventing capture, IP extraction, and profit distribution
  • Membership categories (Community Member, Committer Member) based on merit
  • Employer diversity safeguard preventing organizational capture
  • Mandatory transparency obligations (Clause 60)

Terrene Foundation Limited incorporated

Terrene Foundation Limited was incorporated in Singapore as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), UEN 202611556G. The CLG structure prevents profit distribution and establishes the Foundation as a non-profit entity under Singapore law.

The Foundation was established to publish and maintain open specifications for autonomous system governance, and to steward the open-source software that implements those specifications.


Specifications and software development

Development of the CARE framework, EATP protocol, CO methodology, and the Kailash Python SDK. Patent PCT/SG2024/050503 filed and received favorable International Preliminary Report on Patentability on all 18 claims.
